Interested in learning more about what the County is doing to preserve Market Rate Affordable Housing (or MARKS) in Arlington?
Join us for a tour of the Housing Conservation District (HCD) areas and learn about how this County initiative, part of the overall Housing Arlington effort, can help prevent the loss of moderately priced rental housing.
Meet at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Bozman Center, 2100 Clarendon Blvd. Board the bus and ride with us to see areas of Arlington that still have “naturally occurring affordable housing” (Arlington calls them “MARKS”). We will stop at Westover Gardens Apartments for a short presentation on the HCD, and to see an example of how older affordable properties in Arlington can be renovated and preserved.
The tour will circle Arlington and end back at Bozman Center by 1 p.m.
